Apex Legends, Today saw the release of the Apex Legends Hunted video, which showcased the skills and history of the new legend Vantage as well as the dates for the gameplay reveal.
Vantage, a brand-new character, is introduced in the teaser with Fuse and Horizon in a squad. She first tries to fight, but is stopped by Horizon and reprimanded by Fuse. Vantage’s discussion with her mother when she’s incarcerated gets cut off during the combat in the Apex arena. Her mother asserts her innocence but also preventing Vantage from seeking to free her as she gains the confidence of her colleagues. She is inspired to play video games after seeing a broadcast of an Apex Legends battle as she leaves the prison. She tells the camera drone that she did this for her mother Xenia as her team celebrates victory at the trailer’s conclusion.
The game teaser trailer has Vantage whistling for her bat, Echo, to distract an adversary. She puts on a visor that indicates opponent locations after that, and by tapping a pad on her arm, she activates a jetpack that will take her to higher ground. Later, she utilizes a special sniper rifle that she disassembled and packed earlier in the trailer to take down a number of foes. Although the specifics have yet to be revealed, this film corresponds to the information regarding her kit that was released earlier this year.
Vantage has previously hinted of her background in the Pàgosan wilderness as well as her fight to get Echo into the games (apparently dogs aren’t permitted). Even Twitter posted a copy of her journal. The gameplay reveal for the season, which will premiere on August 1 only 8 days before it starts on August 9, was also hinted to in the teaser. Here is all we currently know about Season 14.
A new season of Apex Legends titled Hunted will be released by Respawn Entertainment the following month. The new Legend Vantage takes center stage in a new season promo, albeit it hasn’t yet shown itself all that much.
It delves into the character’s purpose for participating in the Apex Games, which has something to do with her mother’s ostensibly unjust incarceration. In this clip, she teams up with Fuse and Horizon and leads a squad to victory despite being young and being referred to as a pup by Fuse. Comparative to other trailers, it has a lot of little, fascinating moments but is generally rather low-key. When Vantage competes against Newcastle, the Apex Games’ precursor, there is even a hint of comedy. After winning what seems to be her first match, she takes use of the opportunity to broadcast her mother’s unjust incarceration, to which her mother applauds her and refers to Vantage as her wild one.
According to the trailer for Apex Legends’ official description, “Vantage’s mother may have prepared her to live in the Págos wilderness, but she never met a Legend. She’ll have to find the strength to live with the aid of her squadmates.”
Of course, keen-eyed viewers could have picked up on a few other nuances. The teaser seems to allude to some of Vantage’s skills and showcases her endearing sidekick Echo. Even though there are many “pets” in the Apex Games, such as Bloodhound’s Artur, Ash’s rat, and maybe even Wattson’s Nessie doll, Echo could win the award for cutest. Additionally, it looks that Vantage and her team are on Kings Canyon, maybe hinting to some additional map alterations.
Although there are several Morbius-inspired jokes in the comments, the response to the teaser seems to be positive overall. Reads one comment “I adored the line, “It’s seein’ time,” from Seer. then discovered everyone on the map. Truly one of history’s most memorable events.” This doesn’t truly happen, of course, like the Morbin’ time joke, but it’s still quite entertaining.
In any case, it’s an action-packed clip that shows a lot of potential for Apex Legends: Hunted and Vantage. Fans will undoubtedly want to know more about the new season, so it seems sense that Respawn Entertainment would divulge more information before to the premiere. Just wait and see what the next season brings, fans.
