For a number of its future projects, Disney+ has unveiled release dates and fresh teasers during the Television Critics Association Summer 2022 Press Tour today. Disney Branded Television’s Growing Up and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2, National Geographic’s Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory and Super/Natural, and Season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars” have all been given debut dates. Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory has already been renewed for a second season, which is now in production. as well as the brand-new release date for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law from Marvel Studios.
Additionally, in honor of Disney+ Day, official trailers for Growing Up and Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory, both of which premiere on September 8, as well as the official trailer for Super/Natural, which debuted on September 21, were published. “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” airs on August 18. (Streaming new episodes every Thursday)
Tatiana Maslany plays Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who focuses on superhuman-related legal issues in Marvel Studios’ “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” who must negotiate the tangled life of a single 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk. In the nine-episode comedy series, which also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry, a number of MCU veterans make their debuts, including Mark Ruffalo as the Smart Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong. directed by Anu Valia (Episodes 5, 6, 9) and Kat Coiro (Episodes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9) with Jessica Gao serving as lead writer. “Growing Up” (Disney+ Day Premiere) on September 8
The groundbreaking hybrid docu-series “Growing Up,” created by Brie Larson and Culture House, examines the difficulties, successes, and complexity of adolescence via 10 gripping coming-of-age tales. The series follows one cast member, aged 18 to 22, as they convey their tale via narrative, experimental, and documentary filmmaking. They provide spectators emotionally compelling storylines that provide an engrossing look at adolescence and the many societal, family, and personal challenges young people confront on their route to self-discovery and acceptance. They reflect a wide spectrum of lived experiences. A different young person, or “hero,” and their upbringing are featured in each 30-minute episode. A profoundly intimate conversation that enables our heroes to take us through their childhood and adolescence serves as the episode’s focal point. These conversations are accompanied with imaginative film reenactments that highlight the important turning moments in the stories.
“Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory” (Disney+ Day Premiere) on September 8
Bertie Gregory, a 29-year-old National Geographic Explorer, is the face of a new generation of aspiring explorers and natural history filmmakers. Gregory takes viewers on epic and nerve-wracking expeditions that push into the most stunning and mysterious corners of our wild world. The Disney+ original series “Epic Adventures with Bertie Gregory” from National Geographic breaks the mold of the conventional natural history show by portraying astonishing, true animal tales and bringing viewers along for every beat of the action while using cutting-edge video technology. The charismatic BAFTA Award-winning cameraman spends weeks at a time living among the animals in order to document the unseen tales of famous animals that survive in some of the hardest conditions on earth. This season, we’ll find Bertie slogging through the frigid landscapes of Antarctica in quest of the largest whale migration ever seen on camera and coming face to face with trained lions engaged in buffalo hunting in Zambia. He will lead viewers on a grand expedition throughout the world in this multi-part adventure series, revealing the natural world at a time when it is facing its biggest difficulties.
Season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars” begins on September 19
Celebrities compete in themed choreographed dance routines on the popular television competition show “Dancing with the Stars,” which is hosted by supermodel and entrepreneur Tyra Banks and actor and television personality Alfonso Ribeiro. The routines are judged by a panel of well-known ballroom experts, including Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough. BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions are the creators of “Dancing with the Stars.”
The 21st is “Super/Natural,”
This new series, executive produced by James Cameron and narrated by Academy Award® and BAFTA Award-winning actor Benedict Cumberbatch (“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” “Power of the Dog”), will make use of the most recent scientific advancements and cutting-edge filmmaking technology to reveal the hidden abilities and supersenses of the most extraordinary animals in the world. This will allow viewers to see and hear beyond what is normally possible for humans to experience the natural world.
Season 2 of “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” debuts on September 28
Our team-with-heart and its coach Alex Morrow (Lauren Graham) go to a demanding summer hockey academy in California led by charming but hard-core former NHL player Colin Cole after regaining the Mighty Ducks team moniker last year (Josh Duhamel). It’s a location where youngsters can perfect their hockey skills without being distracted by school. Can you win summer? is the dilemma that our Ducks must grapple with as they attempt to endure in this very competitive environment.
Disney+ Day is a yearly event that launched in 2021 and involves content debuts from the streaming service’s big brands, unique experiences, deals for members and fans, and more. It will be back on Thursday, September 8. The Ultimate Disney Fan Event sponsored by Visa takes place in Anaheim, California, from Friday, September 9, to Sunday, September 11, and this year’s Disney+ Day will precede it.
