Naruto Shippuuden, One of the most powerful Uchiha members, according to other Uchihas, was Shisui. Shisui translates to calm water. He belonged to the Konoha Anbu Uchiha clan. Shisui’s best buddy Itachi was Itachi. They were two of the Uchiha clan’s most talented shinobi. Shisui also succeeded in rousing his Mangekyou sharingan at an unknown moment. He once battled Ao while serving in the ABU unit. The latter remembered Shisui’s chakra and was able to identify it when they finally met many years later.
When Itachi joined the /ANBU unit, he started behaving oddly. The Uchiha clan-led Konoha police had mistrust towards Itachi. They tasked Shisui with taking care of Itachi. Shisui learned of his clan’s preparations and was informed by Konoha’s elders that the latter were considering suing the Uchiha clan. Taken was Shisui’s right eye by Danzou Shimura.
Shisui offered Itachi his left eye so that there wouldn’t be any more disputes over his eyes. He then gave the impression that his eyes were gone for good. Then Shisui killed himself. Itachi helped his buddy carry out his plan and received the Mangekyou sharingan in return. Later, his corpse was recovered in the Nakano River by several Uchiha clan members. They challenged Itachi because they believe he killed Shisui. Soon, Itachi received the command to execute the whole Uchiha clan, Naruto Shippuuden.
Shisui was a master in operating on the eyes. Danzou removed his right eye and put it inside of himself. Shisui gave Itachi his left eye just before he died away.
Danzou Before Shisui passed away, Shimura had stolen his right eye. Shisui’s right arm and shoulder were likewise taken from him by Danzou after he passed away.
